Honored to be included in SparkPeople’s list of Best YouTube Fitness Channels. When we first started my Jenny Ford Fitness Channel, back in 2009, there weren’t any fitness channels who had uploaded full-length step workouts. Since then there’s been a flood of fitness channels, and some of them are really quite good!
This article was written by Jessica Smith from Jessica Smith TV. She has an amazing YouTube Fitness Channel as well, with a great variety of workouts. I love what she said, “YouTube is a great source for fitness–but with so many options available, it can be overwhelming to figure out which ones to follow!” That’s why I appreciate when someone with her expertise, knowledge, and talent writes an article helping participants find reputable YouTube fitness channels they may not have been aware of.
It’s so nice to be able to workout in the convenience of your own home when it fits into your schedule. I personally love working out at home. YouTube fitness workouts are particularly fantastic, because they’re FREE and available 24/7. So, you save money on gym memberships, gas to travel to and from the gym, and you don’t have to be restricted to the gym scheduled classes. You can find any format you enjoy, and even workout with the instructors/trainers you really connect with.
For fun, here’s a link to the very first Step Aerobics workout we uploaded to my channel. It’s an advanced step workout called Unexpected Step. If you aren’t looking for an advanced step workout, I have step workouts at Beginner, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.
