For those of you just learning to do step aerobics, or if you’re getting back to your step training again, I’ve designed this step program called, Learn To Step. The beauty of this program is that you can go at your own pace. While working out at home, you can choose how and when you want to exercise each day. You don’t have to worry about anyone else. If you get confused at any point, you can PAUSE and REWIND as many times as you want. Some even start out doing a few minutes of the workout and build up their endurance each day, little by little. It’s your program! By the end, you’ll be able to step confidently, and hopefully have a bit of fun too.
This Learn to Step program has 14 full-length step workouts you can work your way through. Begin with the 4 *beginner step workouts below, and when you’re comfortable, move on to the intermediate level step workouts. I’ve laid it all out for you below, and you can do each workout as many times as you need before progressing to the next one.
(**Start with these 4 beginner step workouts to learn the foundation basic steps in step aerobics. Get used to stepping up and down on your step bench and how it feels to change lead legs. For example: stepping up on your bench in an UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN pattern as you foot strikes RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT or LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT.)
Once you’ve mastered the 4 beginner step workouts above, you’re ready to progress through the following 10 basic step workouts.
Try my Step by Step next. In this workout you’ll start to put some of the basic steps together into patterns and 4 actual combinations, including a warm-up and cool-down.
Then Step Aerobics Basics with 3 Combos. Begin to put more basic steps together in different patterns while learning 3 combinations.
Next try stepping with me at Aspen Trail. Learn 3 new combos put together a little differently, but still very doable for the beginning stepper.
Then on to Quick FUN Cardio Step.
Then try Basic Step Aerobics – Quick 2 Combos.
Next try my Super Quick Step.
Then on to Step Aerobics Basic with 3 Fun Combos.
Next, try Step Aerobics Basic with 3 SUPER combos. It’s super fun!
Then step with me in Hawaii. Practice 4 different combos with moves that are a little more complicated.
